Program Requirement Information

The CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM is designed to meet the educational needs of the construction industry by training entry level construction managers. The program also provides continuing education opportunities for construction industry employees.GRADUATES will be qualified to be draftspersons, engineering and construction aides, building material and manufacturers’ representatives, planning aides and detailers. Students will be able to transfer many credits to other accredited construction management programs at four-year colleges.


The First Year in Construction Technology closely parallels the Architecture Program with the addition of some Business Courses


The Second Year students learn how to produce construction documents, do preliminary structural analysis, cost estimating and job scheduling.

Students have the opportunity to visit architect’s offices, historically significant buidlings and exhibits through field trips arranged through the Architecture Club.
